Here are the animals you can choose from for your party
If you have the full 2 hour Exotics party, you will get to meet ALL of these animals and invertebrates:
This is "Bandit" the Sinaloan milk snake.
These snakes come from Mexico and can often be found hiding in barns.
It was so hard to take his photo as he wouldn't keep still!
This is "Aragog" the Chilean Rose Tarantula. Her shed skin looks exactly like her, complete with fangs! The children will only be able to look at her, not hold her, as she can be a bit moody.
This is "Rocky" the Bearded Dragon. Bearded Dragons come from Australia. If they feel threatened, they puff up their beard and send it black. They also make their bodies look big and round. Rocky is very friendly
This is "Millie" the giant African Millipede. we have never counted all her legs, but we reckon she has around 250! She loves to eat fruit just as it is going off!
This is "Prince" the Royal Python. It is called a Royal Python because it is said that Queen Cleopatra wore these snakes around her wrist as bracelets. This snake is sometimes also called a "Ball Python"
We have two Giant African Mountain snails... "Grace" and "Nikita" named after two regular members of our Oadby Group. They are the biggest snails you have ever seen and still growing!
This is "Sticky" (named by 11 year old Robert from Leicester). Sticky is a Maclays Spectre stick insect from the eucalyptus forests of Australia. She is very big and still growing. At home, she lives off bramble leaves.
This is "Eddie" the Leopard Gecko. He is very old and sits everso still on your knee. He is spotty and loves to lick trousers (we haven't figured out why yet!)
This is Chloe from our "Tickled Skink on tour" Lutterworth group holding Blossom, one of our adult female albino cornsnakes. Blossom has laid many eggs in the time we have had her and some of her babies are now adults themselves
This is "Cadbury", one of our young corn snakes. These snakes originate from Carolina. They come in a range of colours, but Cadbury is the normal colour for this this kind of snake.
This is "Tango", another of our young corn snakes. He is bigger than Cadbury, but smaller than Prince. Tango is such a beautiful orange colour!
This is "Sid" our baby Madagascan hissing cockroach. He is too young to be held by the children yet as he moves too fast!
We have called him Sid as, when frightened, he likes to pretend he's a snake, by moving his bottom like a snake's head and hissing!
Tango the cornsnake eating a large mouse
Cadbury (mum)and malibu (dad) have recently had 22 babies!!
Their babies have turned out in four different colour morphs:
Keep checking here for new additions as our animal family regularly grows!
We have baby giant african snails for sale. So please ask if you are interested in buying any.
